UNEC Research Foundation held a Meeting with the Representatives of Media.
The staff of the UNEC Research Foundation met with the authors of the most prominent materials published in the media during the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29). The Head of the Department at the Foundation, Ellada Aliyeva, welcomed the journalists and thanked each of them for their work.
Highlighting the importance of mutual communication, Ellada Aliyeva praised the tools and technologies used by media representatives who confidently transition from classical journalism to modern standards and requirements.
The Chief Analyst of the Foundation, Hamid Ahmadli, emphasized the importance of publishing articles and materials in various languages, particularly in English. He noted the significance of modern methods and tactics, pointing out that positive news about events held in the country, accompanied by infographics, photos, and other visual tools, attracts greater attention.
Subsequently, an exchange of ideas took place between the staff of UNEC Research Foundation and media representatives. The topics of the meeting included the expanding criteria of modern journalism, the symbiosis of journalism with new technologies and social networks, and the rapid changes brought by the digital revolution. It was emphasized that journalists today go beyond writing articles, utilizing videos, podcasts, and infographics to convey complex ideas to a wider audience. Such collaboration and synergy with UNEC Research Foundation not only helps produce high-quality materials but also opens new horizons and enables the creation of accessible information for the general public.
During the discussion of the communication plan, Ellada Aliyeva underlined that UNEC Research Foundation is open to dialogue and proposals. Journalists shared interesting cases encountered during their work, the specifics of preparing engaging content, and discussed how different headlines can attract attention.
The prospects of cooperation in this direction were also explored, emphasizing the importance of direct dialogue between journalists and UNEC Research Foundation. The continuation of such meetings, initiatives, and joint activities was set as a goal.
At the end of the event, gifts were presented to the media representatives on behalf of the leadership of the UNEC Research Foundation.
